1.1 - Interpretation Capitalized words have defined meanings below. These definitions apply whether the words appear in singular or plural.
1.2 - Definitions • Account: A unique account created by You to access the Athlens Platform. • Athlete: A user of the Platform who books services from a Creator. • Creator: A user who provides creative services (e.g., photography, videography, design). • Company: Athlens, LLC, registered in New Jersey, USA. • Content: Any text, media, data, or material posted by You on the Platform. • Device: Any device that can access the Service, such as a smartphone or computer. • Order: A booking made by an Athlete for services provided by a Creator. • Platform: The Athlens website and related applications. • Service: The services provided via the Platform. • Terms: These Terms of Service. • User: Any individual or entity using the Athlens Platform. • You: The individual or legal entity using the Service.

3 - Acknowledgment These Terms govern your use of the Athlens Platform. By using the Service, you agree to comply with and be legally bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part, you may not access the Service. Users under 18 must have parent or guardian permission. Your use is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review it carefully.

4 - Governing Law These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of New Jersey, without regard to conflict of law principles. Athlens reserves the right to pursue legal action for violations of these Terms.

5 - User Accounts
5.1 - Registration You must provide accurate and current information. You are responsible for your account security.
5.2 - Age Requirements You must be at least 13 years old and have parental consent if under 18.
5.3 - Termination Athlens reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts at its sole discretion for violations of these Terms.

6 - Marketplace Rules
6.2 - Cancellations • Athletes may cancel bookings up to 24 hours in advance for a full refund, including any platform fees. • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the event are non-refundable. • If a Creator cancels or fails to attend, Athlens will issue the Athlete a full refund and may take action against the Creator’s account.
6.3 - Disputes Athlens acts as a neutral third party in disputes. While we will review all available evidence and attempt to resolve issues fairly, we do not guarantee a particular outcome. Our decisions are final and binding. Users agree to accept these outcomes as a condition of using the platform.
6.4 - Missed Appointments or Harassment Athlens reserves the right to remove any user for harassment, failure to show up, or consistent violations of these Terms.

7 - Content Ownership and Rights
7.1 - Creator Rights • Creators retain ownership of their media. • Athletes receive a non-exclusive, commercial usage license for delivered content. • Creators grant Athlens a license to showcase content on its platform and in marketing materials.
7.2 - Content Guidelines Users may not post unlawful, offensive, or infringing content. Athlens may remove such content and suspend accounts that violate these rules.

8 - Premium Services Athlens may offer subscription-based premium features. Terms will be presented at the time of purchase.

9 - Community Athlens may host a Creator community (e.g., Circle.so). Participation is optional and subject to separate Community Guidelines, which will be provided within the community platform.

10 - Limitation of Liability Athlens is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Total liability will not exceed $100 USD.

11 - Changes to Terms We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified at least 30 days in advance. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the new Terms.
